We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves implementing age-appropriate curriculum and engaging activities that promote learning through play. The Preschool Teacher will also collaborate with parents and staff to ensure each child's individual needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and address any challenges effectively.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate physical education activities that promote health and wellness among students.
- Provide early intervention support for children who may need additional assistance in their learning journey.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe learning space.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- P-3 Certification is required.
- Experience in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Ability to engage children in math concepts through fun, interactive activities.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine love for working with young children and fostering their growth.
