- Start time: 6:00 AM, Monday–Friday
- Full-time, 35–40 hours/week (some flexibility for meetings/training)
what you’ll do
- Open the infant room at 6:00 AM; safety checks, room setup, greet families, conduct health checks
- Follow safe sleep practices at all times; maintain sleep logs and constant supervision
- Prepare/label bottles; feed per each child’s plan; handle breast milk and formula per policy
- Diapering, hygiene, and sanitation according to policy and Texas Minimum Standards
- Provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care (tummy time, sensory, language interactions)
- Keep accurate records (attendance, daily notes, incident/med forms); communicate with families professionally
- Maintain ratios, headcounts, and a clean, organized classroom; assist other rooms when needed
- Uphold Texas Minimum Standards and center policies at all times
what you bring
- 18+ with high school diploma/GED
- Reliable to start at 6:00 AM every weekday
- Infant experience (0–18 months) preferred; willing to train the right person
- Current CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
- Able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and work on the floor (sit/stand/kneel)
- Must pass Texas child-care background check and fingerprinting; health screening per state/local guidance
- Comfortable with diapering, cleaning, safe sleep, and sanitation procedures
