Private Nursery School in Wantagh, New York seeking a lead teacher for our Pre-Kindergarten (4 year old) Program.
Hours for this position are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Monday to Friday. We follow the local school district calendar. We are closed on major holidays.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior experience working with young children. Calm, pleasant personality. Needs to be organized and dependable.
Responsibilities include: Plan, prepare and execute lesson plans, be actively involved in all school activities, correspond with parents, manage assistant teachers, record keeping required, responsible for the health and well being of each student.
We have a music and computer room as well as a large indoor play area. Beautiful outdoor playgrounds. Helpful, friendly staff.
Maplewood is licensed by New York State.

Pay: $3,600.00 - $3,750.00 per month
