Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, math skills, and early intervention strategies while ensuring the welfare of each child in your care.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe and orderly space.
- Promote literacy education by introducing reading activities and materials that stimulate interest in books.
- Incorporate math concepts into daily activities to enhance children's understanding of numbers and problem-solving.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Implement early intervention strategies for children who may require additional support.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a safe learning environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in childcare or as a preschool teacher is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- Knowledge of literacy education practices and early childhood development principles preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate various subjects including literacy and math.
- Commitment to child welfare and creating an inclusive environment for all students.
- Ability to maintain a safe and structured classroom with limited assistance.
