About Us:
Located in the Northwest Hills community of Austin, Leaps N Bounds Preschool is a family-focused, 4-star accredited early childhood center serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We’re dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment that feels like a second home—for both children and their families. Our goal is to make learning fun while providing exceptional care, consistency, and connection.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for professional, energetic, and nurturing individuals to join our growing team as Infant, Toddler, or Preschool Teachers. If you're someone who loves to sing, dance, and create fun-filled days with young children, you’ll thrive at Leaps-n-Bounds!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain appropriate teacher-to-student ratios
- Collaborate with co-teachers to implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Build positive, caring relationships with children and families
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Follow daily routines while adapting to children's changing needs
- Assist with classroom documentation and reports
- Ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards, Texas Rising Star, DFPS, and LNB guidelines
- Attend required trainings outside of regular work hours
- Be flexible and team-oriented—support co-teachers and jump in where needed
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass an FBI criminal background check
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs
- A true love for working with young children
- Previous experience in early childhood is a plus, but not required—we provide paid training!

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
