Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
- Facilitate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth through play-based learning.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and share best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- 12 or more CHILD DEVELOPMENT units Required
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children are essential traits for success in this role.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus but not required at the time of hire.
