Tyto Athene is seeking a Part-Time Principal Advisor to support a Government Program Management Office in Suitland, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Work is Part-time on government site and telework, in accordance with customer demand.
- Support the Program Management Office and other organizations as a subject matter expert (SME), providing multi-disciplined technical and strategic assistance to government program managers.
- Provide executive community expertise for special projects, risk assessments, and reports.
- Provide technical direction and expertise on a variety of program areas, including strategic management, project management, information warfare, intelligence capabilities, systems engineering, stakeholder liaison, and budget analysis.
- Assess emerging technologies and quantify current system performance to recommend options for future system enhancement based on customer priorities.
- Facilitate communications between the Program Office and various stakeholders, including resource sponsors, technical/design agents (field and R&D activities, test facilities, laboratories), platform Type Commanders, and other government agencies.
Required:
- Current active TS/SCI clearance (must have current T5) as reported in DISS.
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in support of DoD programs, operational support, program acquisition, project management, systems analysis, or systems engineering.
- Expert knowledge of IC, DoD, and Navy policies and strategies.
- Proficiency with the DoD Acquisition System, Planning Programming Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) system, and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), able to effectively interact with customers, partners, and associates at all levels.
- High proficiency with MS Office Suite, web-based applications, and databases.
Desired:
- Master’s Degree in technical or related discipline.
- Completion of various DAU and Project Management coursework/certifications.
