Position Overview
We’re looking for a Print Shop Lead who brings skill, leadership, and a genuine passion for print. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys mentoring a team, and wants to make a meaningful impact in a company that’s growing and evolving.
You’ll work closely with the Owner and Operations Manager, leading day-to-day production while designing print orders using Adobe Creative Suite. You’ll help shape workflow, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure every order leaves a lasting impression.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Daily Operations
- Lead and support a small, dedicated production team
- Schedule and manage daily print jobs to meet deadlines
- Ensure quality control across all print projects
- Oversee workflow, equipment use, and inventory
Design & Technical Work
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to set up and design print files
- Operate digital presses, finishing, and binding equipment
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide creative solutions
- Monitor and restock print shop materials
Customer & Team Support
- Assist walk-in and phone-in customers with print and design needs
- Train staff on equipment, design software, and shop procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and positive work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced in print production or graphic design
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- A sharp eye for detail and high-quality standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A passion for print, creativity, and teamwork
