The Print & Cut Lead is responsible for organizing work, and inventory for the Print/Laser areas in the Print & Cut Department. Responsibilities include overseeing department teammates to ensure they are meeting and exceeding company standards for quality & production. They are also responsible for operating the 2-head embroidery machine.

The Print & Cut Lead is responsible for organizing work, and inventory for the Print/Laser areas in the Print & Cut Department. Responsibilities include overseeing department teammates to ensure they are meeting and exceeding company standards for quality & production. They are also responsible for operating the 2-head embroidery machine.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize workload for the printer and laser cutter operators
- Direct print / laser team members daily responsibilities
- Report any printer & laser machine issues to tech services
- Training for new team members
- File completes prints / decorations to the filing cabinets in the command center
- Weekly supply inventory
- Ensure team members are performing printer and laser cutter maintenance
- Ensure team members are processing orders up until ten minutes of the end of the shift
- Ensure that team members are utilizing the last ten minutes of the shift to clean their work area
- Operate a 2 head embroidery machine
- Deliver any file issues to the Creative department
- Print applique production sheets
- Preparing material for the laser room
- Handle all radio communication with production
- Ensure excellent quality
- Receive and put away all supply items
- Prepare components that come in from a 3rd vendor
- Assist team members with any task that is needed
- Ability to learn all printer and laser machines
- Additional duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Embroidery machine experience (preferred)
- Manufacturing experience required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to move around the facility
- Ability to move, reach, kneel and crouch
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7am – noon) as required
