Job Overview
A Processor is responsible for ensuring that product has been appropriately scanned, labeled, and delivered to the customer, without damages to the load.

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate to auditor any mistakes or issues discovered during the picking process by completing the Shipping Accuracy Report, including incorrect product pulled, incorrect quantities pulled, radio frequency/system down time affecting scanning, missing labels, and damaged cartons
- Advise auditor of any load problems by completion of the Load Completion Discrepancies portion of the Shipping Accuracy Report located with pick tickets
- Review and adhere to customer specific shipping requirements checklist
- Review all notes on the Shipping Form, (including those made by supervisor assigning the load, i.e., processor’s name/shift on pick ticket, etc.) that may aid in processing the load
- Review pick tickets and determine needs for serial scans or UCC128 labels
- Count, label, and scan product for loads
- Hand wrap and band product and pallets with appropriate tools
- Ensure all carton damages are removed from loads
- Generate and apply GS1-128 (formerly UCC128) labels to outbound shipments
- Attach any placards designating stops on the product
- Responsible for asset protection
- Promote a safe work environment through personal actions
- Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and safety hazards/concerns to supervisor
- Identify cost saving opportunities
- Comply with department and distribution center standard operating procedures
- Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
- Perform additional warehouse tasks as needed, in alignment with training and operational priorities
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
- The ability to add, subtract, and multiply is required, as well as to effectively operate basic computer and warehouse software systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience using handheld RF scanning devices or mobile inventory scanners
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse environment
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including basic Excel use for inventory or reporting tasks
- Experience working in a team oriented environment
- Excellent communication and organization skills required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand sometimes more than 7 hours and use hands to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. When utilizing the RF scanner, the employee must be able to bend up and down repeatedly. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee may frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

Entirety of work time is spent in a non-climate controlled warehouse where temperatures are hot or cold (seasonally).

Pay: $50,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
