Product Industrialization Manager

About the Role
The Product Industrialisation Manager leads the end-to-end industrialisation of products throughout the product lifecycle to translate engineering designs into efficient, scalable and sustainable production solutions. The role defines manufacturing and support processes, establishes production facilities, oversees commissioning and operational handover, and drives automation and digitalisation to strengthen manufacturing capability and competitiveness.
Qualification and experience:
- Minimum BEng in Industrial Engineering, BEng Honours, BEng Management or a related engineering qualification.
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience; 10 or more years will be preferred.
- Experience in Design for Manufacture and Assembly, including DFMA/DFMAS.
- Experience in design and manufacturing-process optimisation.
- Experience with manufacturing technologies and supplier development.
- Strong background in electro-mechanical product design and development.
- Applied knowledge of system acquisition and product lifecycle principles within a business environment.
- Experience across the end-to-end supply value chain, from business development and product design through to manufacturing and delivery.
- Experience applying engineering-management principles within multidisciplinary product-development or manufacturing environments.

Keyresponsibilities
Industrialisation Governance and Standards
Establish and continuously improve product-industrialisation frameworks, methodologies and governance standards across the product lifecycle to ensure consistent multidisciplinary execution and alignment with relevant lifecycle requirements, resulting in controlled processes and predictable business outcomes.
Industrialisation Strategy and Planning
Define and consolidate industrialisation and production-solution requirements across business lines and projects to align engineering, programme and operational plans with executable industrialisation roadmaps, resulting in coordinated delivery and production solutions that support business objectives.
Multidisciplinary Integration and Execution
Lead industrialisation activities across Engineering, Programmes, Operations and relevant support functions to clarify objectives, responsibilities, dependencies and resource requirements, resulting in integrated execution and the timely resolution of capacity and capability constraints.
Manufacturing Readiness, Commissioning and Handover
Direct the development of manufacturing and support baselines and oversee facility readiness, equipment procurement, commissioning, compliance and acceptance activities to verify production capability, resulting in efficient and controlled handover to Operations.
People Leadership and Capability Development
Build and lead the Product Industrialisation team through workforce planning, performance management, coaching and structured skills development to establish the capability required for current and future business needs, resulting in a high-performing and sustainable industrialisation function.
