Product Manager (Rare Diseases)
Job description
Your impact begins here
As Product Manager for Haemophilia, you will shape how Novo brings treatment and support to people living with haemophilia in Türkiye. You will lead brand strategy, prepare the launch of new treatment options and turn market and customer insights into plans that deliver short- and long-term business results. Your work will help keep the needs of people living with haemophilia at the centre of what the Rare Diseases Business Unit does, today and in the years ahead.
What you’ll bring
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant subject.
- At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, sales or product management.
- Proven success in brand strategy, marketing campaigns, roll-outs and portfolio management – from setting the strategy to executing tactics with operational excellence.
- A strong commercial mindset and business acumen, with customers at the centre of your decisions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into clear focus and action that moves the organisation forward.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, effective time management and a make-things-happen mindset.
- Curiosity about rare diseases and an eagerness to keep learning.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Turkish.
Useful, but not essential:
- Experience in rare diseases, such as haemophilia.
What you’ll do
You will own the local brand marketing strategy for the Haemophilia portfolio – developing, implementing and monitoring it in line with Novo Türkiye’s strategy, business objectives, rules and regulations. You will:
- Lead the premarketing and launch preparation for new treatment options.
- Build the portfolio and product marketing strategy, turn it into short-, mid- and long-term marketing plans, and manage the product marketing budget in line with commercial and financial goals.
- Track product performance, customer insights, competitor activity and market trends, providing regular market updates and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities and proposing corrections.
- Develop product messages and communication materials, and evaluate how effectively promotional communication works.
- Build systematic, strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
- Align strategy and joint tactics with other business units and functions.
Who you’ll work with
You will join the Rare Diseases Business Unit in Novo Türkiye, part of International Operations, and report directly to the Director, Rare Diseases Business Unit. The business unit is responsible for marketing and sales across the Haemophilia and Growth Hormone Deficiency portfolio. Its focus is clear: put the insights and needs of patients at the centre and take an outside-in approach to bring the right treatment options and healthcare services to people in Türkiye.
Based in Istanbul, you will work closely with key external stakeholders and with colleagues across other business units and functions in the affiliate. Those relationships will help you align priorities, coordinate joint tactics and move from insight to action at pace.
What you can expect here
You will take ownership of a therapy area and be trusted to shape its strategy – from upcoming launches to long-term portfolio planning. Leading launch work, cross-functional alignment and market analysis gives you the chance to build new skills on the job, while your expertise and voice help shape decisions in the business unit.
As part of a global healthcare company, you will have opportunities to learn and develop, with clear expectations and a team that combines curiosity, collaboration and ambition to create progress for the people we serve.

Skills mentioned

We are a global healthcare company, founded in 1923 and headquartered just outside Copenhagen, Denmark. Our purpose is to drive change to defeat serious chronic diseases, built upon our heritage in diabetes. We do so by pioneering scientific breakthroughs, expanding access to our medicines, and working to prevent and ultimately cure the diseases we treat. Our story began over 100 years ago when two small Danish companies started producing the revolutionary new drug, insulin, which had just been discovered by Canadian scientists. These companies, Nordisk Insulinlaboratorium and Novo Terapeutisk Laboratorium, were established by individuals driven by a common goal: to make life-saving insulin available to people with diabetes in Denmark and beyond. August Krogh, a Nobel laureate, and his wife Marie, a physician whose own diabetes fueled their quest, played a pivotal role in bringing insulin production to Denmark, leading to the founding of Nordisk Insulinlaboratorium in 1923. Shortly after, in 1925, the Pedersen brothers, former Nordisk employees, established Novo Terapeutisk Laboratorium, creating a dynamic of competition and innovation that would characterize the Danish pharmaceutical landscape for decades. After years of parallel growth and groundbreaking research, these two entities merged in 1989 to form Novo Nordisk A/S, a company that has since expanded rapidly. Today, we are a world leader not only in diabetes care but also in obesity care, haemophilia care, and therapies for rare endocrine disorders. Our commitment extends beyond developing innovative medicines; we strive to make them accessible to patients worldwide. We employ more than 77,000 people across 80 offices globally and market our products in approximately 170 countries. The Novo Nordisk Way, our set of guiding principles, is rooted in the vision of our founders and continues to inspire our thousands of colleagues. We are dedicated to applying our passion, skills, and commitment to defeat serious chronic diseases that affect hundreds of millions of people and represent some of the most urgent global health challenges. Our U.S. headquarters is located in Plainsboro, New Jersey, playing a vital role in the life sciences industry through sales, marketing, and clinical trial management for all Novo Nordisk U.S. products. We are also significantly investing in manufacturing capabilities, including a $4.1 billion expansion in North Carolina, to meet the growing demand for our diabetes and obesity medications.
