- Under the supervision of the Production Control Manager, the Production Scheduler develops Production Schedules to support customer requirements.
3. Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environment Policies.
- Develops Production Schedules
- Coordinates flow with/or between departments to expedite production.
- Reviews master production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders.
- Revises schedule according to changing customer requirements, establish priority based on availability and capability.
- Confers with production personnel to clarify processing methods or establish sequence of operations.
- Develops computer program from worksheet and inputs required data.
- Edits source data to ensure that they conform to pre-determined specifications.
- Compares data on printout or screen with source data to detect errors.
4. Education:
- High School Education or GED with either two (2) years College or 1-2 years Scheduling experience.
5. Experience:
- Two (2) years related work experience preferred.
6. Skills:
- Good Mathematical Skills
7. Training Specific to Positions:
- None
8. Other:
- Good computer skills and familiar with related software applications, i.e. MS Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to travel with little notice
