ABOUT THE JOB
- Understand and follow all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
- Know the purpose and follow proper operation of all safety switches, interlocks and safety devices.
- Must maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
- Check product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility and complete package changeovers accurately and timely.
- Must complete and file all required quality and packaging documentation in an orderly and timely manner.

ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have the capability to read, write, and communicate in English. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Must exhibit ability and desire to work within a team but have the ability to work alone. Works with minimal supervision, be a self-starter who leads by example, and be dependable. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities under pressure. Must be able to drive a forklift and have the ability to pass the test for Forklift Operators License. Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able to work in temperatures of 60 - 90 degrees or more. Must be able to work overtime, during peak production periods.
