Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual for the position of a Production Quality Assurance Technician This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and taking quality control measures to guarantee compliance with our design requirements for our specially manufactured products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gages, etc. to assess dimensions and tolerances.
- Accurately document findings.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in processes and products.
Skills/Qualifications/Requirements
- Attention to detail.
- Proven record of good attendance, showing up to work reliably and on time. Poor attendance will not be tolerated.
- Willingness to learn and be cross-trained.
- Working together with a team to accomplish goals and contribute to departmental and company improvements.
- Reading blueprints (engineering/manufacturing drawings)
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Pluses
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/machine shop.
- Previous CMM use.
We will provide training for technical aspects of the job but working together as part of our team and good work habits are not optional.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
