Job Summary
The Production Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the donation processing and production areas within the store, ensuring that donated goods are efficiently sorted, processed, priced, and prepared for the sales floor. This role is responsible for meeting production goals while maintaining high quality standards, optimizing workflow, and ensuring compliance with company safety and operational procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the production and donation processing areas to ensure timely and efficient sorting, grading, pricing, and preparation of merchandise for the sales floor.
- Assign and monitor daily production tasks to meet or exceed established production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor inventory flow to maintain a steady supply of saleable goods to the sales floor.
- Collaborate with store management to adjust production priorities based on sales trends, inventory levels, and promotional needs.
- Track and report production metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Address and resolve operational or personnel issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain organized and clean production and donation areas to promote safety and efficiency.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required.
Physical and Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation to store location
