Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team at Dogtopia. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding care and service to dogs and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, clipper and scissor work for dogs of all breeds.
- Assess each dog's grooming needs based on breed standards and individual preferences.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all pets during grooming sessions.
- Communicate with pet parents regarding their dog's grooming needs and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the grooming area and equipment to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by building relationships with pet parents and addressing their concerns.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pet grooming with scissors and clippers is required.
- grooming certification preferred.
- Strong animal handling skills with a focus on safety and comfort.
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with pet parents effectively.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
