Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive prompt, attentive service while enjoying their meals in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food handling and sanitation standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and beverage lists to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Process payments efficiently using the POS system while maintaining accuracy in transactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or as a Server is required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or OpenTable is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
