Job Description:
- Conducts prevention education/skills training strategy by implementing the curriculum at designated school sites and/or community sites as indicated by the curriculum developers.
- Provide problem identification and referrals to other support services to youth participating in curriculum services.
- Conducts information dissemination strategy by providing minors and tobacco presentations to youth and adults. Conducts prevention presentations that include minors and tobacco information. Documentation of this strategy must include: a)Number of individuals receiving written information/literature; b)Date, time and duration of activity; c)Location of activity; d)Staff/volunteers conducting activity; e)Presentation/activity topic, purpose and goal of activity; and f)Number of participants.
- Conducts information dissemination strategy by providing Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) presentations to youth and adults.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Sociology or equivalent
- Current Texas driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance are required.
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
