Job Description
Position Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to assist in developing a Project Management Information System (PMIS). The PMIS tool will help project managers plan, measure and control projects to deliver positive results for our clients. The candidate will learn about the project management process, Smartsheet, and Smartsheet integration with third party software (i.e. API) such as Procore, SAP, and Workday.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with project management processes and the Smartsheet development and interfacing frameworks.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) in defining PMIS features and functionalities.
- Develop the overall PMIS architecture.
- Implement the PMIS architecture in Smartsheet.
- Test and debug the PMIS.
- Develop and maintain PMIS documentation throughout the development phase.
- Work with the PMO to plan and manage the PMIS launch (e.g. develop user manuals, provide training to PMO staff, transitioning project managers to the new PMIS, etc.).

- The work environment is a professional, business-casual office setting located close to mass transit in San Francisco's Financial District.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:

Candidate for Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, with the following course work completed:
- Data Structures (or equivalent)
- Programming Methodologies (or equivalent)
- Probability and statistics courses are preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet is preferred but not required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with PMO staff.
- Self-motivated and able to drive the PMIS development.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office or GSuite tools.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to receive, incorporate, and grow from constructive criticism.
Additional Information
Pay Range: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
