Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to travel to and from the company's main office in Irvine to various job sites as needed but at minimum on a weekly basis.
- Lead in all phases of preconstruction and construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Work collaboratively with project executives and team members to establish project objectives and deliverables.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and interact with clients as necessary.
- Coordinate project tasks, including meeting scheduling, documentation preparation, and milestone tracking.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, requests for information, change orders, and other essential communications.
- Perform research and analysis to support project decisions.
- Project planning and risk management processes.
- Implement project management best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Competence in reading and interpreting contracts, schematics, and blueprints.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
