Mustang Cat is hiring an experienced EPG Project Manager to support the execution of electric power generation projects across the Houston region. This position plays a key role in delivering on-time, on-budget power solutions to customers across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure markets.
As a Power Systems Project Manager, you’ll work closely with sales, operations, service providers, and customers to ensure the successful implementation of complex generator projects from start to finish.
- What You’ll Do as an EPG Project Manager:
- Maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets across multiple active projects
- Track and manage project documentation, updates, and deliverables
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Facilitate meetings with customers, vendors, contractors, and the internal sales/service team
- Identify project risks, manage dependencies, and adjust timelines as needed
- Communicate project status, concerns, and solutions to stakeholders and end users
- Support job site visits and oversee compliance with safety and technical standards
- Perform additional tasks that support project success and team collaboration

- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Strong knowledge of project management tools, processes, and scheduling techniques
- Experience in electrical generator installation or power systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for all levels of stakeholders
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
