Job Title: Project Manager
Pay range: $70-90k
Location: Richmond, VA.
We are currently looking to hire Assistant Project Manager who will be highly skilled and knowledgeable regarding the proper installation of commercial water and wastewater piping systems and possess at least 2 years experience in project management and 5 years in project assistance.
Project Manager’s Responsibilities:
- Provide technical on-site assistance on projects to superintendent in the field
- Identify conflicts between specs and drawings and present solutions
- Draft RFIs, Change Orders and perform Submittal review
- Provide input for job costs reviews and updating
- Assist superintendent in field verifying dimensions and with layout
- Manage the Risk Log
- Maintain professional relationship with all project stakeholders
Project Manager’s Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and 5 years in project assistance
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, allied field, engineering, or equivalent experience
- OSHA 30 Certification
- A general understanding in wastewater, landfill, and industrial applications experience
- A general understanding of wastewater process and typical water and wastewater equipment (clarifiers, filters, UV, blowers, aeration systems, mixers, gates, metals, structural steel)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Mechanical, Architectural, Civil and Structural drawings
- Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, and methods
- Excellent scheduling and costing skills
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
