What You’ll Do
As a Project Manager, you’ll lead with strategy and heart, driving commercial construction projects that exceed client expectations. You’ll:
- Lead with Vision: Oversee end-to-end project success, guiding diverse teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to TrueNorth’s high standards.
- Champion Collaboration: Build trust with clients, design teams, and subcontractors through transparent communication.
- Ensure Safety & Quality: Uphold OSHA standards and deliver exceptional results that reflect our commitment to excellence.
- Manage Resources: Oversee budgets, schedules, and pre-construction procurement by building accurate project estimates, securing subcontractors, and sourcing vendors to ensure project readiness, cost efficiency, and goal achievement.
- Solve & Innovate: Tackle challenges with creative solutions to enhance project value and outcomes.
- Drive Documentation: Maintain accurate records (RFIs, submittals, daily reports) and lead seamless project closeouts, including punch lists and client handovers.
Who You Are
- Experienced Leader: 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (tenant improvements and ground-ups) in markets including restaurant, commercial office, healthcare, educational, convenience store/petroleum, industrial, and retail.
- People-First Professional: Skilled at inspiring teams and building strong client relationships rooted in trust and integrity.
- Technical Expert: Proficient in blueprint reading, safety standards (OSHA, CPR, First Aid), subcontractor procurement, and project closeout processes.
- Design-Build Savvy: Experience in design-build projects is a plus.
- Organized Communicator: Adept at juggling priorities, with strong skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Project.
- Travel-Ready: Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 25%, sometimes weekly) to project sites nationwide; valid driver’s license required.
Physical Demands
You’ll work at active construction sites (indoors/outdoors), involving standing, walking, climbing, and occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs. Expect extended hours (up to 12 hrs/day) and significant driving to meet project needs.

Pay: $77,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
