Cole Incorporated is a family-owned construction company in Northern Michigan that has been in business since 1984 with projects consisting of Commercial, Industrial, Municipal and Residential projects. We are seeking a Project manager with above average skills to join our team.
As a Project Manager at Cole Incorporated, you will:
- Lead Projects: Oversee multiple home builds and commercial projects from start to finish on time, on budget, and up to the highest standards.
- Bidding Projects: Efficiently and effectively bid future jobs.
- Coordinate Teams: Communicate with owners, subcontractors, and vendors to keep every project on track.
- Mentor & Lead: Guide your team with integrity and foster a positive, high-performing work environment.
- Manage Resources: Schedule and align manpower and subcontractors effectively.
- Manage Workplace Safety: Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Cole Inc. safety standards.
- Problem-Solve Proactively: Navigate challenges with confidence and smart decision-making.
- Ensure Quality: Review blueprints, conduct shop drawing reviews, and maintain great attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Strong communications skills to collaborate with architects, engineers, sub-contractors and other specialists as well as clients.
What You Bring
- A successful track record managing residential and commercial construction projects.
- Deep knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, and construction means & methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and construction tech tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with bidding, job cost reports, AIA billing, sworn statements and budgeting.
- Knowledge of local and state building codes.
- College degree in construction science and management, engineering, architecture, business administration or a related degree.
- 5+ years in construction project management.
