Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Propane Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering propane safely and efficiently to various residential, commercial, and agricultural locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving and excellent navigation skills. As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in truck driving or commercial driving preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- A commitment to safety practices while on the road.
