As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to clients regarding their tax obligations, ensuring compliance with regulations while maximizing their financial benefits.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state Property tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Advise clients on tax-related matters, including planning strategies and compliance.
- Assist with budgeting processes to ensure effective financial management.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide accurate guidance.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for tax filings.
- Support estate planning efforts by providing insights on wills, trusts, and related laws.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to tax services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in tax accounting or public accounting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial planning strategies.
- Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey tax-related information to clients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
