Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#120310 ) in clinical psychology at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will join a department of dedicated faculty who support several popular undergraduate minors, two undergraduate majors, four master's-level graduate majors, and one graduate major at the specialist's-level. Faculty in the clinical area also support the undergraduate mental health services minor, the undergraduate psychology major, and the clinical psychology master’s program. MTSU is located on the edge of the greater Nashville area, an ideal setting for a wide range of research and service-related interests.

Required Education

A terminal degree in clinical psychology or other health services psychology field from an APA-accredited training program that included an APA-accredited internship is required by the appointment date.
