Full Time Physical Therapist – South Bay / Orange County

Education & Licensing:
- Must be a graduate from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation on the American Medical Association or the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, and hold a current license issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee of the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
Experience:
- Possess a minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experience in a clinical setting – preferably in a home health environment.
Clinical Skills:
Exhibit excellent judgment and up-to-date knowledge of current therapy practices, with exemplary clinical, analytical, and documentation skills, requiring minimal supervision.
Be self-directed, organized, and physically capable of managing tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
Hold an active, valid driver’s license with an automobile insured in accordance with state and organizational requirements, and ensure it is in reliable working condition.
Demonstrate computer literacy and a willingness to embrace agency technology that streamlines documentation and supports team communication.

Technical Proficiency:
- Provide physical therapy services in accordance with a prescribed treatment plan and physician orders. Monitor and evaluate treatment effects as well as the patient’s physical and emotional responses, updating plans as new orders are received.
Assessment & Planning:
- Evaluate the therapeutic and rehabilitative status of each patient to develop and modify individualized treatment plans. Set specific, achievable goals and participate regularly in interdisciplinary planning, case conferences, and staff meetings.
Communication:
- Liaise with physicians for clarifications or to discuss significant changes in the patient’s condition, offering recommendations as needed.Accurately document patient treatments and responses using established guidelines.
