Position Summary:
As our Purchasing Manager, you’ll oversee the procurement of goods and services necessary for the resort’s day-to-day operations. From spa and wellness supplies to food & beverage and maintenance materials, your role ensures timely, cost-effective, and quality purchasing that aligns with Amrit’s commitment to excellence and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end purchasing operations, vendor negotiations, and contract management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels across departments (spa, wellness, F&B, housekeeping, engineering)
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast supply needs and source appropriate vendors
- Ensure compliance with budgetary and quality standards
- Develop and maintain positive vendor relationships and monitor performance
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Implement and oversee purchasing systems and inventory control protocols
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procurement software
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
