We are currently seeking a highly skilled PV Lab Scrub Tech to join our Lecanto team and support our physicians in delivering advanced interventional procedures.
Position Summary:
The PV Lab Scrub Tech will assist cardiologists and other providers during peripheral vascular and interventional procedures. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, handling instruments and supplies, and ensuring optimal safety and efficiency throughout each case. The ideal candidate has experience in a cath lab, PV lab, or surgical environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the PV lab for daily procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and sterile.
- Scrub and assist physicians during peripheral vascular interventions and related procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterile technique.
- Anticipate physician and procedural needs to support efficient case flow.
- Monitor and track instrumentation, supplies, and equipment usage; assist with restocking and room turnover.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, technologists, and providers to ensure excellent patient care.
- Participate in emergency response situations as needed.
- Support quality improvement and compliance initiatives within the lab.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent relevant training preferred.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or RCIS certification preferred; eligibility to obtain considered.
- Prior scrub experience in a cath lab, interventional radiology, vascular lab, or operating room strongly preferred.
- Current BLS certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and PV/cardiology equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
