What You’ll Do:
- Review daily process records.
- Understand the process for putting products on hold and assist the plant and warehouse in the process when necessary.
- Input Daily Product Grades after QA Record Review
- Track USDA contracts for fulfillment and conduct activities for USDA requirements.
- Work with the QA Manager to update the QSM Procedures and Documentation Registers as procedures are changed/issued by corporate QA and Plant QA Manager
- Assist in conducting record reviews of customer complaints and maintaining a Customer Complaint Investigation Register
- Collect required Supplier and Ingredient Documentation when updates are due. Maintain the register for suppliers and ingredients throughout the year.
- Assist in various audits including QSM and SQF audits.
- Perform periodic inspections of the Glass and Brittle Plastic within the facility.
- Occasionally perform sanitation audits and assist in food safety audit walkthroughs.
- Work with the warehouse to perform label line documentation reviews.
- May perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager/Supervisor
What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Six or more months of related experience and/or training desired but not necessary.
- Have attended or be able to complete upon hire better process control school, HACCP training, and SQF training.
