Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems and regulatory compliance and will be familiar with FAA regulations, CFR/Repair Station Protocol, ISO 9001, AS 9100, and Process Control/Improvement.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and repair station requirements
- Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including the repair manual
- Analyze data from quality control processes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (shop and office management) to fabricate solutions that enhance product quality.
- Obtain and maintain ISO 9001 and AS 9100
- Maintain vendor audits
- Provide training and support to staff on QA/QC practices and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports on quality metrics for senior management review.
- Oversee all quality documents/procedures
- Responsible for calibration of tools and record of calibrations
- Responsible for tool inspections
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality management within a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, CFR standards, ISO 9001, AS 9100, Process Control, and Inspection procedures
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Preferred: Familiar with PMA process and approval
