Job Description:

Working in an agile development environment the incumbent works with cross functional teams of Development, Product Analyst and DevOps to ensure relevant testing is executed for each release. The incumbent is responsible for increasing testing efficiency and coverage through automation improvement, new processes introduction and creation of the best test plans. In addition, the incumbent will be managing day to day operations and deliver high quality products to customers

Location: PAN India ( remote)

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  1. Lead test planning, test documentation, reporting and design and implementation of validation procedures.
  1. Partner with Automation and Infrastructure team to leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability.
  1. Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple products
  1. Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose regression tests to discover recurrences
  1. Work with engineers and leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution
  1. Knowledge of QA process with exposure to industry based process improvement techniques
  1. Demonstrated leadership capability with a vision of what and how to make things happen
  1. Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience in API test automation
  • Database skills, mainly in SQL Server
  • Experience of automation testing tool – Selenium
  • Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role and programming background
  • Good experience with different Operating Systems
  • Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Client Communication
  • A good Team Player
  • Highly motivated & self-driven with a proven ability to perform multi-tasking
  • Achieving assigned Deadlines
  • Never give up attitude

Work and Physical Requirements

This position may work from home and/or office environment. Working in an office environment may require prolonged sitting, work in an air-conditioned environment, ability to work with others at various noise levels and ability to lift up to 30 pounds or 15 kg.
