Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Reports to: Quality Control Manager

Position Overview
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured meet the established quality standards. This role involves: inspecting, testing, and verifying that products are manufactured according to company and product specifications and standards. The Inspector will document and report any quality issues, and will work closely with the Quality Control Manager to address and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection and Testing
- Conduct thorough inspections of products at various stages in the production process.
- Ensure that all products and components meet company quality standards.
- Identify and remove substandard quality items as early in the production process as possible.
- Conduct product testing under the direction of the Quality Control Manager and/or Director of Manufacturing as appropriate.
- Assist Quality Control Manager with root cause analysis to identify, contain, and correct quality issues.
Process Improvement
- Gather data for analysis of quality issues.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality under the direction of the Quality Control Manager.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to integrate quality control measures into production workflows and ensure process improvements remain in place.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or technical training preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience in a quality control or similar role preferred, previous experience with manufacturing quality control processes highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
