Willowwood is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. This is a first shift position, Monday - Friday with guaranteed overtime. The QC Technician will ensure all liners, seals and sleeves meet the Standard Operating Procedures for all liner process quality checks. Accurately input inspection results into database including first piece inspections and provide feedback to press operators when any quality criteria fall below the predetermined guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Visual inspections of all liners, seals and sleeves
- Accurately perform thickness and durometer measurements for all Alpha products
- Enter first piece inspection results into database after every press changeover
- Properly identify the entire Alpha product line along with quality expectations
- Record scanning, monitoring and tracking for each serialized liner, seal and sleeve
- Sorting Alpha liners, seals and sleeves based on daily production reports
- Analyze data from the daily production reports
- Monitor mixer times, yield results and durometer readings from each gel batch and enter information in the Alpha intranet database
Essential Skills Required:
This position requires strong knowledge of all standard operating procedures for liner process quality checks. The ability to analyze data using standard production reports, OWW Intranet Website and quality requirements. Be proficient in word processing and, spreadsheet software. Have the ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work alone as well as a team, able to perform other cross-functional departmental duties as assigned

- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Make solid accurate decisions based on predetermined quality criteria
- Prior quality control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic computer skills (preferably Microsoft Office)
- Must have ability to quickly become proficient in measurement devices such as rule, thickness and durometer gages and dial indicators.
