Now Hiring: Quality Specialist – Home Care Services
Location: Based in Presque Isle, ME with travel throughout Aroostook County
Employment Type: Full-time 26 hrs per week

The Aroostook Agency on Aging is seeking a Quality Specialist to support and monitor our Home Care team. In this essential role, you’ll ensure that Personal Support Specialists (PSS) provide high-quality, safe, and compliant care to our clients across Aroostook County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home visits to monitor care quality, client satisfaction, and PSS staff performance
- Ensure care plans are followed and Department of Health & Human Services regulations are met
- Complete safety checks prior to the start of services and as needed
- Provide training and support to field staff and clients
- Accurately document visits and upload reports to WellSky Personal Care
- Deliver supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
- Communicate updates and concerns to the Manager of Home Care Services
Qualifications:
- Certified as a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
- At least 1 year of experience in a related caregiving role
- Preferably 2–3 years in social services or related human services work
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and mobile software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
- Must have a clean driver's record
- Travel throughout Aroostook County is required
