Quality Assurance Manager

• Oversee NAVSEA ISO compliant Quality Management System Manual & SOP processes and procedures to provide quality compliance.
• Minimum 5 years Experience
• Oversee and maintain the Quality Management Systems.
• Plan, schedule and conduct Internal Audits of APS’s Quality Management System Program.
• Plan, schedule and conduct Audits of qualified suppliers, qualified vendors and coating systems subcontractors.
• Approve, and oversee the submission of each Work Item Closeout letter ensuring that all work items have been completed, inspected and all required reports have been submitted prior to the General Manager submitting contract completion for billing processing.
• Chair the Annual Management Review Meeting and submit the Annual Management Review Report; and provide required Quality Assurance data and documentation.
• Lead the technical and administrative operation of the Quality Assurance Department.
• Develop Test and Inspection Plans, Test and Inspection Records, perform checkpoints and provide welding, preservation, electrical and mechanical inspections of installed materials and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret reference drawings, blueprints and test notes.
• Maintain company weld program and records.
• Maintain company respirator program and records.
• Maintain the Corrective Action program.
• Provide necessary input to upper management to ensure continual improvement.
• Assist with the determination of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) and act as a liaison between APS and our customers.

Write, track and log Inspection Deficiency Reports and answers thereof.
