Position Summary:
- Calibration supervisor directly manages and coordinates the activities related to the calibration functions in a manner that meets company standards and customer's standards. They are responsible for the work that includes equipment/control workforces, equipment calibration and the role will interact with other departments, vendors, and customers to solve urgent complex problems by identifying and evaluating alternative. Other responsibilities are operating the Quality Management System (QMS) and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and controlling calibration budget. Will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues, ensuring that our products meet both internal and external standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality System Management: Develop, implement, and manage the quality control processes for the battery production line, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 169949 standards.
- Standard Document Managment: Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business, operation, and customer requirements.
- IATF 16949 Audit: Organize and manage internal and external audits and corrective action reporting, including training and guiding other auditors.
- Procurement Management: Oversees and manage all labs-related procurement activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of necessary supplies to support team operations. Plan the budget of next year's expectations, demands, and cost. (Considering Cost Saving/ proper inventory, decide reasonable purchase)
- Calibration management has to follow based on Process (Registering/Managing Cycle/Auditing floor) and it will be controlled on GQMS.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering, production and supply chain teams to continuously improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and enhance product reliability.
- Report on Key Performance indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system
- Perform supervisory and administrative duties associated with calibration personnel management
- Coordinate the tasks and work plans of the Calibration team
- Help develop team members skills set

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Proficient in quality control tools and techniques (e.g., SPC, Six Sigma).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive data-based decision-making.
- Proven track record in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with lithium-ion battery manufacturing process and EV battery systems.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations, including ISO/IATF 16949.
- Familiarity with advanced quality control methodologies, including Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
