Are you detail-oriented and passionate about food safety and quality? We’re looking for a Quality Technician to support daily production in a high-volume, temperature-controlled food manufacturing facility. If you're ready to play a vital role in ensuring safe, high-quality food products, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and verify food safety and quality standards throughout production
- Conduct routine quality checks (temperature, weight, labeling, packaging integrity, etc.)
- Document and report deviations from product specifications or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Work closely with production and sanitation teams to maintain compliance with safety and quality programs
- Collect and label product samples for lab analysis
- Ensure adherence to HACCP, USDA, FDA, and company standards
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and corrective actions
- Support audits and internal quality improvement initiatives
Working Conditions:
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment (35–45°F)
- Requires standing, walking, and repetitive movement for long periods
- Must wear appropriate PPE and follow strict hygiene and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
