Scope and Purpose

The Logistics Department seeks to hire a Specialist Engineer or Architect to ensure the effective and high-performance management and maintenance of all operational units of the bank, including the Head Office, branches, properties, and the ATM network.

Maintenance responsibilities include conducting periodic inspections—either independently or with working groups—based on observed issues or notifications from branches, departments, or bank staff. The role involves preparing detailed reports, proposing solutions, and executing internal or external design and projection tasks in compliance with local regulations and Intesa Sanpaolo Group standards. Additional duties include preparing documentation and work volumes, supervising and monitoring works, ensuring quality control, and overseeing the final delivery of completed projects.

Main

responsibilities

  • Effectively manage and maintain all bank operational units, including the Head Office, branches, properties, and ATM network.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities and third-party services across operational units.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the Head Office, branches, and ATM network to ensure optimal internal and external conditions.
  • Oversee the full maintenance cycle, including the opening and closing of units, preparation of documentation for approvals, and compilation of work volumes.
  • Support tender processes by linking all relevant documentation and performing preventive checks, monitoring works through to completion, and ensuring proper documentation storage.
  • Participate in budgeting processes and cost analysis.
  • Optimize and manage costs to ensure efficiency and reduction where possible.
  • Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams.
  • Design interior and exterior layouts of premises as needed.
  • Prepare reports based on inspections or notifications from third-party staff and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Assist the Head of the Department in assessing, analyzing and collecting data to meet the Intesa Group's reporting requirements within the framework of logistics
  • Support Department Managers in identifying strategies for utility savings and asset optimization.
  • Contribute in setting objectives, actions for improving the facilities and where and when possible, establishing management systems for logistics services;
  • Assist in drafting contract clauses and managing tender processes in line with local and Intesa Group requirements.
  • Support projects related to the bank’s annual investment portfolio.
  • Maintain communication with similar roles within the bank to optimize workflows.
  • Assist internal and external control groups as required.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Department Managers.

Competencies /

Skills

  • Associate's degree, Trade or Technical School, Technical degree; Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture or related field; Master's degree in Engineering/Architecture or related field;
  • Previous experience in the field of construction architecture, as an engineer/architect or assistant engineer/architect in:

- planning, coordinating and executing construction works;

- technical tasks such as surveying, testing materials and assisting with site inspections;

- entry-level role for students or recent graduates gaining practical experience;

  • Training, field-specific courses,
  • Ability to draft, design, plan and or survey plans using Autocad or similar;
  • Previous similar experience of at least 2 years;
  • Good judgment and analytical skills;
  • Careful and attentive to detail;
  • Excellent time management skills for solving and completing tasks within deadlines;
  • Ability to interact in difficult situation i.e anomalies;
  • Very good time management skills for solving and completing tasks within deadlines;
  • Very strong communication skills;
  • High ethical standards;
  • Very good knowledge of English language
