Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient material flow within the facility. A chauffeur’s license is required or must be obtained immediately after the hire date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Prepare, package, and process outbound shipments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Operate company vehicles for local deliveries and pickups as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep the shipping and receiving area clean and organized.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years warehouse experience required
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping documentation.
- Valid chauffeur’s license or willingness to obtain one immediately after hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
