Job Summary
The Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in the supply chain process by ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately received, recorded, and stored. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Record and report discrepancies or damages in shipments.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks to move products within the warehouse.
- Assist with order fulfillment by picking and packing items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in picking and packing procedures.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and reach trucks.
- Strong basic math skills for inventory management.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to perform order fulfillment tasks effectively.
- Experience with load unloading procedures is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour
