Established HVAC company located by Miami Executive Airport is seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at our front desk and providing exceptional customer service to our clients, over the phone. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as necessary.
- Assist in dispatching technicians and scheduling maintenances and service calls with our customers.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide information about services offered.
- Request and expedite permitting with various municipalities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in using office software and computer systems for scheduling and record management.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with office management procedures is advantageous.
This position does not offer any health care or other benefits other than paid major holidays and one week paid vacation after 6 months of employment. Hours are 8 to 5 pm (in our office) with one hour lunch 5 days a week.
