Job Summary:
Best of Canaan is looking for a “people person” to work in our busy Canaan Valley vacation rental office. This position could be full-time and would require good telephone and computer skills, as well as the ability to interact well with the public. On-the-job training is available. Some weekend days would be required.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
- Type correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the office staff
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic office management procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
