Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
Duties
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and maintain documentation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Review and interpret blueprints and contracts to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Prepare construction estimates and manage project budgets effectively.
- Implement project scheduling using tools such as Primavera or ProCore.
- Facilitate communication among team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., ProCore) and Bluebeam for document management.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and civil engineering principles (Civil 3D experience is a plus).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices and contract negotiation processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
