Job Posting: Project Manager – Growing Restoration Company

We’re a young, fast-moving restoration company on a mission to become one of the top names in the industry. We specialize in water, fire, mold, and other property damage restoration. Our team is small but scrappy, and we’ve got big plans for expansion in the coming year.
Right now, we’re looking for a Reconstruction Project Manager who’s ready to take ownership, run with leads, and help us deliver top-tier service to our customers. This role is a hybrid of project coordination, sales, and customer service—and it’s one of the most critical roles on our team.
What We're Looking For:
We need a go-getter. Someone who thrives with minimal supervision, can manage multiple projects at once, and knows how to turn jobs into repeat business. If you know your way around construction sites, insurance adjusters, and homeowners in crisis—and you’re not afraid to chase down the next opportunity—this might be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage restoration projects from start to finish: scope, schedule, subcontractors, and customer updates
- Act as the main point of contact for homeowners, insurance adjusters, and internal team members
- Create detailed estimates using Xactimate (preferred but not required—we can train the right person)
- Oversee job progress and quality, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget
- Proactively follow up on leads and support sales efforts to secure new jobs
- Deliver top-notch customer service—communicate clearly, frequently, and professionally
- Ensure all documentation, job notes, and photos are completed and organized
- Handle insurance paperwork and understand the claims process from start to finish
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in restoration, construction, or project management
- Working knowledge of the insurance restoration process
- Familiarity with Xactimate (or willingness to learn it quickly)
- Strong construction knowledge and ability to speak with trades and homeowners confidently
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, friendly attitude
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and juggle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
