Job Description
As the leader of the Registration Operations team, the Registration Operations Manager is responsible for developing the people, processes, and operational standards that ensure exceptional registration support across every client program. This role leads and develops Meeting Coordinators, establishes consistent registration practices, manages team capacity and quality, and partners closely with Project Delivery leaders to ensure registration operations contribute to seamless event execution and exceptional attendee experiences. The Registration Operations Manager serves as the organization's subject matter expert for registration operations while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and hospitality.
Successful candidates will have the following:
- 5+ years of experience in event registration, attendee management, meetings and events, or event technology.
- Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring team members in a collaborative environment.
- Strong understanding of registration operations, attendee management, and event technologies.
- Experience developing operational processes, documentation, and quality standards.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
Qualifications
- Advanced experience with Cvent or similar registration platforms.
- Experience with CRM integrations, reporting tools and data management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with high focus on Excel
- Experience supporting enterprise meetings and events programs.
- Understanding of hotel contracts, clauses, concessions, and addendums.
- Strong attention to detail with superb proofreading skills
What you would be doing at Unbridled:
Team Leadership & Development- Lead, coach, and develop Meeting Coordinators through regular feedback, mentoring, and performance management.
- Foster a collaborative, service-oriented team culture rooted in accountability, hospitality, and continuous learning.
- Support career development by identifying growth opportunities and creating individualized development plans.
- Lead onboarding and training for new Registration Operations team members.
- Establish and maintain operational standards, workflows, and quality expectations for registration activities across all programs.
- Provide guidance and oversight for complex registration projects while empowering Meeting Coordinators to own day-to-day execution.
- Review registration plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex registration challenges and operational issues.
- Manage team capacity and assign Meeting Coordinators across client programs based on workload, experience, and development opportunities.
- Monitor resource utilization and proactively identify staffing needs or workload imbalances.
- Partner with the Operations Managers to support workforce planning and resource forecasting across Project Delivery.
- Ensure appropriate coverage during peak workloads and business continuity needs.
- Develop and maintain registration playbooks, templates, SOPs, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve registration workflows, quality assurance processes, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Event Technology to optimize registration platforms, integrations, and system capabilities.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance consistency, scalability, and the attendee experience.
- Partner closely with Project Managers and Meeting Planners to ensure Registration Operations effectively supports program delivery.
- Collaborate with Client Leadership to understand client expectations and continuously improve registration services.
- Work with Event Technology, Project Finance, and other shared service teams to align registration operations with broader organizational initiatives.
