Job Summary

We are seeking a highly responsible, proactive, and organized Remote Recruitment Specialist (Education Staffing) to manage recruitment and staffing coordination for positions involving work with children. Responsibilities include sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating onboarding, maintaining accurate recruitment records, and ensuring compliance with client procedures. A key priority is promptly identifying and coordinating substitutes when scheduled personnel are absent to ensure adequate staffing coverage and minimize disruptions to daily operations. The ideal candidate has experience in recruitment, staffing coordination, or human resources, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to urgent staffing needs. Experience in school, childcare, or community-based environments is preferred. This full-time position requires availability from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM New York time, with flexibility to schedule the remaining hours around operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post job openings on recruitment platforms, including Indeed and LinkedIn, to attract qualified candidates.
  • Review applications, screen resumes, and conduct candidate interviews.
  • Recruit and coordinate personnel for positions involving work with children.
  • Identify, contact, and coordinate substitute staff when scheduled personnel are absent.
  • Respond promptly to urgent staffing requests and ensure positions are covered.
  • Coordinate candidate schedules, interviews, onboarding, and required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and update recruitment tracking systems.
  • Follow client training, staffing procedures, and established documentation requirements.
  • Communicate proactively with candidates and staff to ensure smooth coordination and minimize staffing gaps.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as assigned.

Qualifications &

Requirements

  • Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with candidates, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing coordination, or human resources.
  • Experience conducting interviews and using recruitment platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
  • Highly responsible, proactive and able to respond quickly to urgent staffing needs.
  • Ability to take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly, follow established processes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Experience working in a school, childcare, or community-based environment serving diverse families and children is highly preferred.
  • Resourceful, accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker, highly adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and confident.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills in fast-paced work environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage daily operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiar with standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management).
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows.
  • Ability to follow established processes accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work full-time, with required coverage from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM New York time and flexibility in scheduling remaining hours.
