Valley Ace Rental Assistant

Summary:
As a Rental Assistant, you will perform a variety of manual tasks, which include, handling of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. It would be beneficial to have a thorough knowledge of all tools being used and must be able to effectively manage tool inventory. Your primary objective is to assist the sales staff and other rental personnel engaged in meeting the needs of customers and also create smooth day-to-day rental operations.

Additional duties include the following:
- Assemble, load and unload equipment, assist with preparing equipment for rental and receiving.
- Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
- Complete cleaning equipment prior to returning it back to the rental store inventory.
- Verify rental tickets and returns for accuracy.
- Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries about equipment and general sales with our Hardware / Garden Stores.
- Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card.
- Basic POS knowledge.
- Knowledge of general construction equipment is preferred.
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal / written communication skills.
- Diligent attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 50 lbs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
